Day 01: Arrival in Kochi & Fort Kochi Immersion
Welcome to Kochi: On arrival at Cochin International Airport (COK), you will be met by our representative and transferred directly to your boutique hotel in the historic Fort Kochi area. After settling in, the afternoon is dedicated to immersing yourself in the area's unique colonial charm. Walk past the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, explore the quaint streets lined with antique shops and art galleries, and visit the ancient St. Francis Church. The evening concludes with a captivating viewing of a traditional Kathakali dance performance, a classical art form synonymous with Kerala's rich culture. Overnight stay in Fort Kochi.
Morning after breakfast, complete your exploration of Kochi by visiting the beautifully preserved Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) and the adjacent Paradesi Synagogue in Jew Town, absorbing the city's multicultural history. Noon after lunch, you will check out and begin the scenic drive to Munnar (approx. 4-5 hours), the famous hill station renowned for its vast tea plantations. As you ascend, the landscape dramatically changes to rolling hills covered in carpets of emerald tea bushes, offering spectacular views . On arrival, check into your hill resort. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar Tea Gardens and Peaks
Morning after breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing dedicated to the pristine nature of Munnar. Start with a visit to the Tea Museum, learning about the processing of tea and the history of the plantations in the region. Next, drive to Echo Point for a panoramic view and a fun experience shouting across the valley, followed by a visit to the serene Mattupetty Dam and its reservoir. The afternoon allows for a gentle trek through the tea estates, connecting you directly with the cool, misty environment that defines the Kerala highlands. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 04: Munnar Wildlife & Transfer to Thekkady
After breakfast, check out and drive to the Eravikulam National Park (home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr), taking in the breathtaking views from the highest peak in South India, Anamudi. Following this, you will drive south to Thekkady, the heart of Kerala’s spice and wildlife region. On arrival, check into your spice plantation resort. In the late afternoon, take a guided Spice Plantation Tour , learning about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, coffee, and cinnamon. Overnight stay in Thekkady
Day 05: Thekkady Wildlife & Transfer to Alleppey
Morning after breakfast, prepare for an early adventure at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. You will enjoy a boat safari on Periyar Lake, offering excellent opportunities to spot wild elephants, bison, various deer species, and numerous birds coming to the water's edge. Noon after lunch, you will check out and drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha) (approx. 4 hours), the hub of Kerala’s famous Backwaters. Upon arrival, you will check directly onto your luxurious private houseboat for the night.
Day 06: Backwater Cruise & Alleppey Relaxation
Daybreak begins with the magical sounds of the Backwaters. Enjoy a slow, mesmerizing cruise as your houseboat glides through narrow canals, past villages, paddy fields, and local life on the banks . You will enjoy all meals prepared by your onboard chef, experiencing authentic Keralan cuisine. After a final houseboat breakfast, you will disembark in Alleppey and be transferred to a high-end beach resort nearby (like Marari Beach or a luxury resort near Kochi) for a final night of serene relaxation by the Arabian Sea.
Day 07: Departure from Kochi
Daybreak begins with the magical sounds of the Backwaters. Enjoy a slow, mesmerizing cruise as your houseboat glides through narrow canals, past villages, paddy fields, and local life on the banks .
