Stop to walk behind Seljalandsfoss and admire the towering Skógafoss waterfall. Near Vík, walk the volcanic black sand beach, viewing the majestic Dyrhólaey and Reynisdrangar formations. Start the day bright and early for more exciting adventures. Depending on the season, you will join an ice cave and glacier walking tour on Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier. Your journey continues to the famous Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Nearby, visit Fellsfjara, nicknamed "Diamond Beach," where large chunks of glacier ice contrast sharply with the black sand. Drive to Höfn for a group dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: The Rugged East Fjords
Today, you’ll journey through spellbinding East Iceland. The scenery here is defined by long and narrow fjords with steep mountainsides and rugged tundra. Each fjord has its own unique qualities, with picturesque fishing villages and friendly locals. If you’re lucky, you might spot a reindeer or two, as they come down from the mountains to stay close to the sea during the winter months.
Among other highlights, you will stop in the small villages of Stöðvarfjörður and Fáskrúðsfjörður. The latter is known for its French heritage and fascinating northern lights photo exhibition. You will then head to Egilsstaðir, a charming town located by Lagarfljót lake. Here, you’ll take a dip in the Vök Baths. This is the perfect way to relax after another day of adventure.
Later, you’ll continue on to your accommodation, where you’ll enjoy dinner with your group.
Day 06: The Magical Lake Mývatn
You’ll reach North Iceland today, with its many natural wonders and spectacular sights. To begin with, you’ll explore the natural beauty of Lake Mývatn and its lunar landscapes. Some of the most spellbinding areas include the Námaskarð pass, the lava formations at Dimmuborgir and the Skútustaðagígar pseudocraters. Whether you’re a geology enthusiast or not, you’re sure to be awed by this stunning scenery!
The journey ends in the peaceful countryside, where you’ll have time to relax before the group dines together.

Day 07: Akureyri & Forest Lagoon
Prepare to be amazing by today’s first highlight – Goðafoss, the “Waterfall of the Gods”. Spend some time admiring the vivid sight of the thundering waters before your guide takes you on to Forest Lagoon. The lagoon is located within a lush forest, on the banks of one of Iceland’s longest fjords, Eyjafjörður. After relaxing in the hot and cold pools here, you will head on to the charming town of Akureyri. Take a stroll through the city centre, grab lunch in a local restaurant of your choice, and explore some of the town’s highlights with your guide.
Later, you’ll head to your accommodation in the tranquil farmlands of Skagafjörður, where you’ll enjoy dinner.
Day 08: Snowy Landscapes in West Iceland
Today, you will get the chance to explore the incredible western part of Iceland along beautiful Borgarfjörður. Your guide will stop at Deildartunguhver, the most powerful hot spring in Europe, and the spectacular twin waterfalls of Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.
Next, you’ll visit the historical sites at Reykholt, which is rich in Saga history. Reykholt is the home of 13th century writer, poet and scholar Snorri Sturluson. You’ll also visit the Settlement Centre in Borgarnes. Housed in two of the oldest buildings in the town, the centre offers a fascinating insight into Iceland’s early history. Later, you’ll head to your accommodation, where you can take an afternoon stroll before joining the group for dinner.

Day 09: Wonders of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Today, your guide will show you the wonders of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, renowned for its natural beauty and diverse landscapes. The most iconic sight here is the Snæfellsjökull glacier. Travelling along the peninsula, you’ll stop to admire spectacular coastal scenery, including the picturesque surroundings of Arnarstapi village and the Lóndrangar cliffs. Then, head to Djúpalónssandur, a striking beach where you can try to pick up one of the 4 “lifting stones”.
The drive will then continue past the famous sight of Kirkjufell mountain. It’s now time to head back to the capital, having completed a circle around Iceland. After saying goodbye to your guide and being dropped off at your hotel, you will have the rest of the evening at your leisure in the city.
