Day 01: Arrival in Windhoek & Flight to Sossusvlei
Your Namibian adventure begins with your arrival at Windhoek International Airport. From there, you'll take a flight to the Sossusvlei Airstrip. Upon landing, you'll be transferred to your lodge. The rest of the day is for settling in and enjoying the tranquility of the desert landscape.
Day 02: Exploring Sossusvlei and Deadvlei
Today is dedicated to exploring the iconic red dunes of Sossusvlei. Activities are planned for sunrise or sunset to avoid the heat. You can climb magnificent dunes like Dune 45, embark on a 4x4 drive, or take a hot air balloon flight for an aerial view of the mesmerizing landscape. A highlight of the day is a visit to Deadvlei to see the ancient, petrified camel thorn trees.
Day 03: Flight to Swakopmund
After a final morning activity in Sossusvlei, you'll be driven to the airstrip for a flight to Walvis Bay International Airport. From there, a transfer will take you to your next destination: Swakopmund. This charming coastal town offers a completely different experience from the desert, with its unique German-influenced architecture.
Day 04: Adventure in Swakopmund
Swakopmund is known as Namibia's adventure capital, and today you'll find out why. You can choose from a range of exhilarating activities, from quad biking or sandboarding on the dunes to a serene catamaran cruise to spot dolphins. For a more relaxed experience, you can take a walking tour to appreciate the town's distinct European feel.
Day 05: Flight to Damaraland
Prepare for a change of scenery as you leave the coast. You will be collected from your lodge and driven to Walvis Bay International Airport for your flight to the Damaraland Airstrip. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your lodge in this vast, rugged wilderness.
Day 06: Wildlife and Rock Art in Damaraland
Today you'll explore Damaraland's unique desert-adapted wildlife and ancient history. You can go on game drives to track the rare desert-adapted elephants and even the endangered black rhino. You'll also have the opportunity to visit sites like Twyfelfontein to see the well-preserved rock art created by the San people centuries ago.
Day 07: Departure from Damaraland
After a final breakfast and a short activity, you'll be driven to the Damaraland Airstrip for your flight back to Windhoek International Airport, where your journey concludes.
