Day 01 : Arrival in Reykjavik

Individual transfer by Flybus shuttle bus from Keflavik airport to your accommodation in Reykjavik. You may explore Iceland’s capital city on your own if time allows.

Day 02 : Lava, Fjords & Heritage

Early this morning, we'll head west with our guide to explore Grábrók, a 3,400-year-old volcanic crater. After a delightful lunch in the coastal town of Búðardalur, we will continue along the majestic fjords of Ísafjarðardjúp to our next stop, Litlibær, a rare surviving turf house. We will conclude the day by arriving in Ísafjörður, the largest town in the Westfjords, where we'll be based for the next three nights. As night falls, we will prepare for an exhilarating Northern Lights hunt.

Day 03 : Beautiful Westfjords & Dancing Lights

Today begins with a visit to the magnificent Dynjandi waterfall . We'll continue along the fjords to the picturesque pier of Önundarfjörður, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. After a nature walk and a meal, we will explore the charming town of Ísafjörður, filled with vibrant houses and cobblestone streets. As night falls, we will prepare for another opportunity to witness the Northern Lights dance across the sky.

Day 04: Maritime marvels & Flateyri village

Our day begins with a visit to the Ósvör Maritime Museum, a meticulously restored fishing hut that provides insights into the lives of 19th-century fishermen. We then continue to the village of Flateyri to explore the "Old Bookstore," a hidden treasure operating since 1914. We'll also learn about the tragic 1995 avalanche and see the protective barriers that now shield the village. As evening descends, we will take a leisurely stroll in pursuit of the ethereal Aurora Borealis.

Day 05: Enchantment & Culinary Delights

Our journey today transports us to the charming village of Hólmavík and its Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft. Immerse yourself in the captivating history and folklore surrounding witchcraft and sorcery in Iceland, as you explore a vast collection of artifacts including ancient grimoires, ritual objects, and the intriguing Icelandic magical staves, believed to possess protective and mystical properties. Following a day filled with intriguing discoveries, we make our way to the secluded Vogur Country Lodge in West Iceland. Nestled amidst pristine surroundings, this overnight destination offers a tranquil setting ideal for Northern Lights observation, so make sure to stay up late and enjoy the celestial spectacle!

Day 06: Ring Road and Iceland's North Adventure

Today, our journey continues as we join the iconic Ring Road, a pivotal part of our guided Iceland tour. Traveling further north, our first stop is Glaumbær, one of Iceland's most captivating turf house farms and folk museums. Continuing through stunning fjord landscapes and over mountain passes, we will arrive at Akureyri , the bustling capital of North Iceland, where we will stay overnight.

Day 07: Akureyri & Lake Mývatn

This morning, take time to explore Akureyri, the vibrant capital of North Iceland. You'll then visit Goðafoss, the "waterfalls of the Gods," before venturing to the wonders of Lake Mývatn. Here, you'll witness peculiar lava formations, intriguing pseudo craters, and the imposing Hverfjall . The afternoon concludes with a relaxing soak in the geothermal waters of the Mývatn Nature Baths. Keep a lookout for the Northern Lights in the evening.

Day 08: Exploring Lava Formations & Hot Springs

Begin your morning with a stroll through the captivating lava formations of Dimmuborgir, also known as “the dark castles,” where legend has it that trolls reside. Keep an eye out for these mythical creatures as you navigate the labyrinthine paths.

In the afternoon, venture to the hot spring area of Námaskarð, where bubbling mud pools and steaming solfataras create a surreal landscape. Traverse through the desolate highlands, reminiscent of a lunar environment, as you make your way towards East Iceland.

Day 09: East Fjords, Glacier Lagoon & Diamond Beach

Today you’ll meet your guide for an E-bike excursion through the countryside to the charming hill town of Bagnoregio enjoying lunch at a local agriturismo along the way.

Day 10: Vatnajökull National Park & the South Coast

Today, you'll delve into the wonders of Vatnajökull National Park . In the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive along the South Coast, where you'll traverse the vast Eldhraun lava field and journey across the coastal desert. You'll witness the mesmerizing Icelandic Lava Show before taking a stroll along the black lava beach of Reynisfjara. The day concludes with visits to the magnificent Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. Keep an eye out for the Northern Lights in the evening.

Day 11: Icelandic Horses & the Golden Circle

Today, we'll venture to the iconic sights of the Golden Circle. Our adventure starts at Friðheimar, where you'll learn about the Icelandic horse and visit a geothermal greenhouse. We'll then arrive at the Geysir geothermal fields, where you can witness Strokkur erupting every 5-7 minutes. Continuing on, we'll be captivated by Gullfoss, a magnificent double waterfall , before heading to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon our return to Reykjavík, we’ll treat you to a brief city tour of the world’s northernmost capital.

Day 12: Departure Day

Individual transfer by Flybus shuttle from your accommodation in Reykjavik to Keflavik airport.
